We regret to announce the passing of Andrew Howard III, also known as "Andy," who departed this world on June 24, 2024, at the age of 64 in Modesto, California. He was born on March 7, 1960, to Andrew David Howard II and Johnnie Mae Howard.

Andy is survived by his daughter Marleena Denise and her spouse Turusma H. Garner. He was a doting grandfather to four grandchildren.

Andy attended San Mateo High School, where he graduated in 1978. He went on to further his education at CSM/Modesto Jr. College.

During his younger years, Andy proudly served in the Marine Corps as an E3 in the HQSVCCO 1st bn 4th MAR 3rd MARDIV unit for three years.

Known for his quick wit and infectious laughter, Andy never failed to brighten the room with his presence. His quirky sense of humor and love for practical jokes brought joy to all who knew him.

While Andy may be gone, his memories will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. If he were here, he would probably joke about "creating chaos in heaven" or pulling pranks on the angels.

Rest in peace, Andy. May your spirit find eternal amusement in the great beyond.
