Andres V. Gonzales, 62, a beloved, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully in his home on Feb. 20, 2013. He was born on Jan. 3, 1951 in Las Vegas to Estanislado Gonzales and Lucy Eva Tafoya-Gonzales.He was preceded in death by his parents, Estanislado and Lucy (Tafoya) Gonzales.Andy is survived by his five brothers, Lorenzo, Gene, Tanny and wife Nela, Clarence and wife Eppie, Armando and wife Maryann; and two sisters, Martha Garcia and husband Tony, Emilia and husband Tony. Andy is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, and grand-nieces. Andy was very proud of his family and enjoyed visiting with his brothers, sisters, nephews, and nieces whenever he had the opportunity. There will be a mass celebrating his life at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 403 Valencia St., Las Vegas.
