André L. Ewart was born October 2, 1962 in the British West Indies. He was one of sixteen children born to John and Sharon Ewart. André completed High School in Manhattan, New York and after graduation joined the U.S. Army. While in the Army André trained as an electrician and excelled in his vocation. André's electrical training made him a jack of all trades, he could fix almost anything from washers, refrigerators, electrical wiring, and plumbing just to name a few. He was employed at Accurate DieCast Company for 30 years and later at ITT Lester where he retired

André Ewart leaves to mourn his beloved wife Evelyn; son, De'Andre Ewart, daughter Brie'Anna Ewart and 2 grand children. Tammie Ewart and Tracie Ewart; a sister, Ms. Loraine Davis of Springfield Garden, N.Y.; a brother, Arthur Ewart of Maryland; and a host of relatives and friends. André Ewart departed this life on June 30, 2023 surrounded by family.
