It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amy Pettel, born on March 15, 1986, in Fort Myers, Florida. Amy passed away on January 11, 2020, leaving behind her devastated partner Benjamin Beckmann.

Amy was the beloved daughter of Matthew and Karen Pettel, who may never forgive her for all the gray hairs she caused them over the years. Despite her mischievous nature, Amy was a dedicated employee at the Christian Dance Studio, where she managed to dance her way into everyone's hearts.

Amy had a passion for art and piano, although she often struggled to tell the difference between a paintbrush and a piano key. Her artistic endeavors were met with mixed reviews, but her enthusiasm was always infectious.

Although Amy had no children of her own, she will be missed by her fur babies, Fluffy and Whiskers, who are probably already plotting their escape without her constant cuddles.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the "Amy Pettel Memorial Fund for Artistic Improvement," in hopes that future generations will learn from her mistakes and finally figure out how to paint a decent picture.

Amy's wit, charm, and inability to stay within the lines will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace, dear Amy.
