We are saddened to announce the passing of Amelia Russell on March 9, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on June 23, 1975, to her parents Ronald and Priscilla Johnson.

Amelia is survived by her loving husband, Christopher Carl Byrd, whom she married in 2011. Together, they have three children: Jeremiah Leesean Baker, Amelleonna Anita Russell (spouse Jabari Phillips), and Christopher Carl Byrd Jr. She also leaves behind one grandchild.

Amelia attended Audubon Jr High School and later went on to pursue her education at Riverside Community College. She had a passion for cooking and enjoyed spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals for her family and friends.

Amelia will be remembered for her infectious laughter, warm smile, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
