Amelia Hanson, beloved daughter of Douglas Hanson and Abigail Wilson, was born on January 14, 2017, in Quitman, Texas, United States. She passed away on March 18, 2025, at the young age of 8.

Amelia was a bright and talented student who excelled in her studies at Quitman Elementary School and Quitman High School. She was a member of the Chess Club and Mathematical Club, where she showcased her keen intellect and love for strategic thinking.

Despite her young age, Amelia touched the lives of those around her with her kindness, intelligence, and gentle spirit. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and teachers.

Amelia's life was tragically cut short due to rapid blood loss during surgery to remove a tumor in her lower intestinal tract. she was a cherished daughter and a source of joy and pride for her parents.
