Amelework Kidan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2024, in Olney, Maryland, United States.

Born on March 6, 1940, to Hailu and Tigest, Amelework grew up surrounded by love and care in her family home. She shared many wonderful years with her spouse Zeleke, whom she married in the year 50, and together they raised two children, Mulu and Woldu. Amelework was a doting grandmother to her two grandchildren.

Amelework was known for her green thumb and love for gardening. She spent countless hours tending to her plants and flowers, creating a beautiful oasis in her own backyard. Her passion for gardening brought her joy and tranquility.

Amelework will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit touched the lives of many. May she rest in peace knowing she was deeply loved.

Amelework Kidan's cause of death was a heart attack. She leaves behind her loving family and friends to cherish her memory and legacy forever.
