Amanda Layou, born on September 11, 1991, passed away on October 17, 2025, in Surprise, Arizona, United States. She was the beloved daughter of Shawn and Saundra Layou.

Amanda had no children but had a special place in her heart for her 12 nieces and nephews. She enjoyed spending time with her family, drawing, and anything related to kids.

She worked at Dysart School District where she made a positive impact on the lives of many students.

Tragically, Amanda lost her battle with Stage 4 triple negative breast cancer. She fought bravely until the end, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.

Amanda will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
