It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amanda Myers Hernandez, who was born on November 10, 1977, in Anderson, Indiana. She peacefully departed this world on October 13, 2025, after suddenly succumbing to health complications.

Amanda was the beloved daughter of Harry Harden and Susan Myers McClendon. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength through her seven children: Keenan A. Myers (spouse Samantha McCarty), Juan A. Hernandez (spouse Anjulien Hernandez), Javier R. Hernandez, Olivia A. Hernandez, Stephen D. Hernandez, Yaslene L. Hernandez, and Emilio Hernandez. Her children were her pride and joy, and she raised them with unwavering devotion and care.

Throughout her life, Amanda was known for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering faith. She touched the lives of all who knew her and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community.

Amanda attended Madison Heights High School, where she excelled academically and formed lifelong friendships. She always had a thirst for knowledge and a passion for learning, which she instilled in her children as well.

Although our hearts are heavy with grief, we take solace in knowing that Amanda is now at peace and reunited with her loved ones who have passed before her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her children and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
