Alvin Purvis, a resident of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada, passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 74. He was born on May 19, 1951.

Alvin was a dedicated employee at Michelin, where he worked diligently for many years.

He is survived by his loving partner, Mary, with whom he shared two children. Tracy, who is married to John MacDonald, and Tammy. Alvin was also a proud grandparent to four grandchildren.

Alvin will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his unwavering commitment to his family, and his kind and generous spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
