On July 13, 2025, the world lost a beloved member of the Philadelphia community, Alvin Heron. Born on August 8, 1968, to Thoywell and Jenny Heron, Alvin lived a full and vibrant life filled with love and laughter.

Alvin was a dedicated father to his two children, Marldon and Garth, who brought him immense joy and pride. He adored his two grandchildren Stephen & Patrick ,who were the light of his life.

Alvin had a passion for fishing and could often be found casting a line in his favorite spots around Pennsylvania. He found peace and solace in the calming waters, surrounded by nature.

Despite facing a courageous battle with Stage 4 lung cancer, Alvin never lost his sense of humor or positive outlook on life. He touched the hearts of everyone he met with his warmth, kindness, and infectious smile.

Although Alvin may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will live on in the memories of all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Alvin Heron.
