Alvaro Trevino, 70, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on October 22, 2016. He was born on January 22, 1946 in Ingleside, Texas, the son of Francisco and Irene Trevino. Alvaro was a certified welder for 40 years, and worked for Mundy Co. for 26 years. He married Josie Cadriel on July 6, 1962 in Portland, Texas. Alvaro was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista of Pasadena, where he became a deacon in 1982. Alvaro was also a Sunday school director, adult teacher, youth director, and financial director. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Josie; four children, Amelia Rendon and her husband David, Amada Trevino, Alvaro Trevino Jr., and Adriana Craft; seven grandchildren, Melissa Mora, Vanessa Santana, Briana Haney, Erika Trevino, Sammy Rodriguez, Alyssa Craft, and Nathaniel Trevino; five great grandchildren, Malachi Cortes, Julian Mora, Jacob Cortes, Roman Mora, and Jeremiah Santana; siblings, Reyes Hernandez, Juanita Jimenez, Robert Trevino, Hector Trevino, Jose Trevino and his wife Gracie, and Ramona Trevino. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm at Grand View Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 10:00 am at Grand View Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Grand View Memorial Park in Pasadena, Texas.
