Simplot of Pocatello. Al worked at Simplot for 33 years.Throughout his years, Al taught each of his children how to hunt and fish. The family would take annual fishing trips to Salmon and American Falls Reservoir. If he wasn't hunting or fishing, you could find Al and Josephine enjoying the days sitting outside in their front yard with their children and grandchildren. Every so often, friends and extended family would stop by to say 'Hi,' but the 'hi' would stay with dinner and shots. If you knew Al, you knew he loved his shots of Vodka. If he was sick, he cured it with a shot. If you came to visit, it started off with a shot. Al had love for his family and friends, he especially loved spending time with each of his grandkids and great grandkids, by showing them love and teaching them how to hunt and fish. He always had a story to tell.
