It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alonzo Abney on September 29, 2025, in High Point, North Carolina. Born on August 21, 1968, to his beloved mother Leola W. Jones.

Alonzo was a graduate of High Point Central High School, Class of 1988. He continued his education at Guilford Hair School, where he honed his skills in the art of hair styling.

Alonzo was a loving spouse to India Abney and a devoted father to their children. He adored his five grandchildren, who brought immense joy and laughter into his life.

Known for his infectious smile and love for enjoying life, Alonzo will be remembered for his sense of humor and kind heart. He always had a joke ready to make others laugh and brighten their day.

Though Alonzo may be gone, his spirit will live on in the memories and laughter he shared with those who knew and loved him.
