Alma L. Darden 98, passed away on 05 July 2021. She was born to parents Lisa Davenport  and Luther Davenport , on 27 May 1923 in Columbia, South Carolina.

She graduated from Name of High School in Year of Graduation.

She went on to study Field of Study at Name of University or College and graduated with Name of Credential achieved.

She enjoyed List of Passions or Hobbies. In 2015, Alma was honored with a Devoted christen  for Never miss a day of church . Other honors include: List of Awards, Milestones and Achievements.

Alma met Diddy Darden  in 1946. They were married on 1947 in Norfolk va . Together they raised 3 children: Priscilla , Marshall ,Trisha .

Alma is survived by List of survivors.

She was preceded in death by List of predecessors.

The family has entrusted Thompson funeral home  with the arrangements. A Event is scheduled for Tuesday,July 13 2021 at 200 State st, West Columbia, SC 29169. A reception will follow at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. Pastor Chris Thompson  will officiate the ceremony.
