Allene Stovall departed her earthly home to live with Jesus on October 7, 2021.

Allene was born on June 03, 1944 in Florida to Zack & Essie.

As a young woman she moved and was raised in Detroit, MI under the guardianship of Harry & Minnie Lee Martin.

She retired after more than 30 years of service as a nurse at Harper Grace Hospital in Detroit, MI.

Allene loved to entertain and she was a joy and light to everyone who crossed her path.

After retiring she traveled and definitely enjoyed blues music " Johnny Taylor", fishing and most important her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish their precious memories:

Devoted Daughters: Shelley, Kimberly and Angela

Grandchildren: Sean, Keith, Kelle, Ryan, Alayna, J'Vaughnna, Ja'Miyah, Ja'Niyah, Deon and Kourtlyn. Numerous Great grandchildren and a host of nieces & nephews.

Sisters: Viola, Ruth(Hamp), Bertha, Gloria, Betty and Marilyn.

Brother: Jimmy(Pansy).

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following the path God laid for me, I took his hand when I heard his call, I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work, to play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way, I've found that peace at the end of the day.

If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy.

A friendship shared a laugh and a kiss, Ah, yes, these things too I will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life's been full, I savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your heard and share with me,

God wanted me now, He set me free.
