We are saddened to announce the passing of Alice Peoples, who left this world on January 15, 2025, in Conroe, Texas. Born on May 19, 1947, Alice was the beloved daughter of Cassie and Annie Pearl Hunter.
Alice is survived by her partner, Oscar Lee Peoples, and their three children: Eddie Peoples, Nicole’s Peoples, and Jeffrey Hunter. She was also a proud grandmother to ten grandchildren.
Alice attended Booker T. Washington High School in Conroe, Texas, where she graduated in 1965. She was known for her cheerleading skills and was an active member of the Jubilee committee choir.
Alice will be remembered for her love of music, her infectious laughter, and her kind heart. She brought joy to all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
