Alice BarnhardtSeneca, SC - Alice Nell Walker Barnhardt passed away peacefully on December 29, 2016, at the Lila Doyle Nursing Facility in Seneca, South Carolina. She was surrounded by members of her family.Ms. Barnhardt was born on May 15, 1923 in Kannapolis, North Carolina to Richard S. and Carrie St. Clair Walker. She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Richard Earl Walker of Silver Spring, Florida; a sister, Blanch Davis of Kannapolis, North Carolina; and a great grandson, Austin Lucas of Rock Hill, South Carolina.Ms. Barnhardt is survived by her children; Ann Wilson (Don) of Falls Church, Virginia, Brenda Marsengill of Seneca, South Carolina, Eric Barnhardt (Jo Ellen) of Yanceyville, North Carolina, Elaine Oliver (Larry) of Salem, South Carolina, Gary Barnhardt (Cathy) of Fletcher, North Carolina and Debbie McDonald (Charlie) of Madisonville, Tennessee.Also surviving are seventeen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.A memorial service for Ms. Barnhardt will be held in the Spring at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
