Alice Rooney, of Culpeper, Virginia, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2023, at the age of 90 years. She was born on April 17, 1933, to Charles and Diane Smith, in Culpeper, Virginia.

Alice was a devoted wife to the late Corey Rooney, whom she married in 1949. They built a life together and raised their two children, Anne and Andrew, with love and dedication.

Alice was a caring and compassionate person, which is why she chose to pursue a career as a nurse. She worked as a nurse for many years, dedicating her life to helping others. She also served as a nurse aide for a period of time, extending her care and helping people in any way she could.

Alice was known for her positive outlook on life. She always had a smile on her face and was quick to make others feel at ease. She had many friends, who adored her for her kindness and her ability to make them laugh.

Alice was a beloved mother and grandmother, and her passing has left a significant void in the lives of her family. She is survived by her daughter Anne, her son Andrew, and her five grandchildren.

in addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the love of her life Corey Rooney.

Alice's passing was due to natural causes, and her legacy of love and compassion will live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones.
