Alhaja Amudat Olusanya, also known as "Auntie Amu," passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024, at the age of 93 in her beloved New Jersey, Michigan home. She was born on February 6, 1931, and lived a colorful and vibrant life filled with joy, laughter, and love.

Auntie Amu was known for her infectious smile and warm heart. She was a pillar of her community and touched the lives of all who knew her. Her love for gardening and baking was unmatched, and she could often be found tending to her flowers or whipping up delicious treats for her friends and neighbors.

Despite never having children of her own, Auntie Amu was a mother figure to many and was always there to offer a listening ear or a helping hand. Her wisdom and kindness will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

On August 19, 2024, Auntie Amu passed away from Cardiac Arrest, leaving a void in the hearts of those who loved her. Though she may be gone, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to have known her.
