Alfonso Ricardo Martinez of Mora, N.M. passed away to his final rest on Feb. 6, 2015, at Casa Rael in Santa Fe.He was born on Feb. 3, 1940 in Mora to the union of Ben C. Martinez and Margarita Leyva Martinez. He was raised by grandmother Juanita R. Pacheco; all preceded him in death, including one brother.He is survived by three children and families of Denver. Sisters: Cecilia Dominguez and family of Denver and New Mexico, Frances L. Martinez and family of Pueblo, Colo., extended family in Denver, Special niece Sandra and husband Cresencio Espinoza of Cleveland, N.M., and by several nephews, nieces and friends.There will be no services, as per his wishes. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be at the Mora Cemetery at a later date, to be announced.Sincere thanks to staff at Casa Rael, especially the Alzheimer's unit for their patience and care, Nelson Funeral Home for all their help.
