Stevens, Alex W.Alex W. Stevens, 34, died unexpectedly at his home on March 30, 2017. He was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle and nephew. Alex was born on June 21, 1982 in Fond du lac to Yvonne S. Ackerman (Stevens) and Roy Curtis. He grew up with four siblings. Alex enjoyed BMX racing, fishing and karate growing up. He graduated from Stevens Point Area High School. He also worked as a roofer for 10+ years. Alex was engaged to Amanda Zangl and was a proud father to daughters Kaylee Marie Jisko, Aubrey Jane Zangl and Alexa Mae Zangl. Alex loved animals and anything that went fast (motorcycling, snowmobiles, cars).Alex is survived by his fiancé Amanda, his daughters, his parents, one brother Kevin Stevens and sisters Brenda (Robert) LaFountain, Kelly (Jeff) Sabel and Keri (Randy) Gloede. He is further survived by his grandmothers Joyce Brenwall and Fran Stevens and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.Alex was preceded in death by his step-father Edward Stevens and grandfathers Jerry Ackerman, Mark Stevens and Robert Brenwall. Alex was saved by the grace of God in 2015. May He rest with our Loving Lord for all eternity.Visitation: Alex's family will greet relatives and friends at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E.
