Alex Jone Vexer, 19, born in Detroit Michigan passed away Thursday Nov. 21 2019 after being in a car accident. 

Alex was born Aug. 14, 2000, in Detroit Michigan. He grew up and was raised in Springfield, Illinois. He was raised by his parents Olivia and Ronnie Vexer. 

He loved playing the drums and had a passion for baseball. He was employed by yard dogs lawn care and was previously employed with McDonald’s, and Burger King. 

Survivors include his mother and father Olivia and Ronnie Vexer. And his grandparents Jackie Vexer, Lorance Vexer, and Joyce Barrett. And several aunts and great aunts. 

A funeral service will be held at 2p.m. Friday November 29, at Bisch & son Funeral Home in Springfield with burial at Calvary cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7p.m. Memorial donations will be accepted at the funeral home.
