Alejos Hernandez, 46, of San Antonio, Texas, passed on January 27, 2023. Alejos was born on September 20, 1976.

Our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son and Brother, dedicated to his family, died peacefully in his sleep at home on Friday, January 27, 2023.

Growing up as an Air Force military dependent as one of two brothers and two sister, the family was fortunate to have assignments stationed in Laredo, Texas, Germany, Spain, the Philippines, and California. His formative high school years were spent in the Philippines, where after high school and community college in the U.S., he went on to a successful professional career in the food and beverage industry. His experience managing F&B operations for national brand companies with hotels, restaurants, night clubs, catering, and fine dining establishments gave him a reputation as a turn-around expert for reviving quality and service in distressed operations through his leadership and training.

Alejos Peña Hernandez Jr. a family man first, his pride and joy were his children and . He married in 2001 to his living wife Samantha Hernandez, and raised a family of six children. He is survived by his sons, Isaiah M. Hernandez, Thomas F. Hernandez, Marcus F. Hernandez; His daughters Lea M. Hernandez, Alexandria Hernandez, and Natividad Hernandez. He was preceded by his Father and Mother, Alejos Hernandez and Olivia Hernandez.

A Memorial Rosary will be recited on Friday, February 3, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with a Memorial Mass to immediately follow, and Reception to follow Mass. Inurnment for immediate family will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery.
