A beautiful young angel left us to watch over us on April 6, 2013. Aleandra was a resident of Villanueva, born on July 3, 2000, in Santa Fe, to Frances Bustos and Fredrick Sanchez. Aly, as she was called, was a seventh grader at West Las Vegas Middle School. She played T-ball as a child and was a part of the cheerleading squad for a short time.She is preceded in death by her grandpa, Enriquez Bustos of Villanueva and grandmother, Esther Sanchez of Chama.Aly lived in Villanueva with both her parents, Fredrick Sanchez and Frances Bustos; her sister, Elaina Sanchez (fiancé Jesse Salazar) and her niece, Phoebe Salazar. She is also survived by her grandfather, Trinidad Sanchez of Chama; grandmother, Rebecca Rodriguez of Clovis; aunt, Brenda Bustos (fiancé Paul Le Doux); cousins, Melissa Lucero her daughter Alianna Farfan, Carlos Lucero (fiancé Jamie Garcia) and their daughters Rhea and Leysia Lucero; uncles, Henry Bustos (Geraldine) and family of Bernal, Steve (Helen) Gonzales and family of Portales, Bobby Sanchez (Reese) and boys of Amarillo, Texas, Edmund Sanchez and family of Cebolla, David Sanchez (Jeanie) and boys of Amarillo, Texas, Tomas Sanchez (Isabel) and son Abriel of Albuquerque, Paul of Phoenix, Ariz.; still living are great-aunts, Elis Torres and Apologia Martinez; neighbor and "best buddy," Joseph Rivera. Aly was so friendly, spunky and just a very unique person. She had numerous friends, so many she considered family. Pallbearers are Henry Bustos, Steve Gonzales, Thomas Sanchez, Gabriel Sanchez, Carlos Lucero, and Justin Garcia. Special honorary pallbearer is Joseph Rivera.Funeral services for Aly will be held at Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Catholic Church in Villanueva as follows: rosary services will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Ron Stone at 10 a.m. Thursday.
