CARFRAE Alcinda, 49, of Cedar Rapids, IA, passed away on Oct. 16, 2016. Memorial Services: 5:30 PM Fri., Nov. 18, 2016 at White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone, MO. Visitation: 4 PM until service time. Alcinda was born on Feb. 14, 1967, to John and Sammie (Hoggard) Mills. She graduated from Oak Park High School in KC, MO. She began working as an EKG Tech at NKC Hospital. Later she decided to become a Cardiac Sonographer and graduated from the Arizona Heart Institute in Phoenix, AZ. She worked at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids and at the VA Hospital, Iowa City, IA. Alcinda married Rob Carfrae on Mar. 3, 2004. Alcinda is survived by her husband, Rob; son, Jackson Britt; parents, John and Sammie Mills; sister, Jamie (Stoney) Martin; niece, Kylie Martin; uncle and aunt, Jim and Ruth Gardner; cousins, Debbie Gardner and Chris Barnett. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jon Britt Mills.
