ALBERT PRASCHAK MERRILLVILLE, IN Albert Praschak, age 92, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2016. He was born on February 2, 1924 in Gary, IN to the Late Andrew and Mary Praschak. Albert retired from GW Berkheimer after 47 years of service. He was an avid golfer, a member of Turkey Creek Country Club and was an active Member of Descent of the Holy Spirit Orthodox Church. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends from the Glen Park Neighborhood, Turkey Creek Country Club and GW Berkheimer Company. Albert will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. May His Memory be Eternal! He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Anne Bilyak, Michael Praschak, Margaret Kadelak, Chuck Praschak, Mary Benko; nieces and nephews: Rebecca Nagy, DavidKadelak, Ted Bilyak, MilanBilyak. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, December 9, 2016 10:00 a.m. Directly at Descent of the Holy Spirit Orthodox Church (545 East 77th Avenue Schererville, IN) with Rev. Fr. Lev Holowaty officiating. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
