It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Albert J. Darden, who passed away peacefully on November 30, 2023 in Sterling Heights, MI. He was born on July 28, 1948 in Detroit, MI.

Albert was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was married to his wife Brenda for over 50 years and had a son, Albert Jr. He was a proud grandfather to Kyle, Kory, Carlos, and Janell.

Albert was a man of many talents. He served in the military and was a retired firefighter. He was an active member of his community and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a devoted husband and father, and was always there to support his family.

Albert was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was also an avid sports fan and was always cheering on his favorite teams.

Albert will be remembered for his kind heart, his generous spirit, and his infectious laughter. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service in Albert's honor on Wednesday, December 13th at 11:00am at the First Presbyterian Church in Sterling Heights, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Detroit Firefighter's Association in Albert's memory.
