Alarico Oakes, a beloved member of the Akwesasne community, passed away on November 12, 2024, at the young age of 18. Born on August 8, 2006, Alarico was known for his infectious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering loyalty to those he cared for. He had a passion for music and could often be found playing his guitar for friends and family. Alarico will be remembered for his sense of humor, charismatic personality, and his ability to bring joy to those around him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
