We are gathered here today to honor the life and legacy of Alan Regal, who passed away on November 11, 2025, in Schaumburg, Illinois. Born on January 23, 1952 Alan was the beloved son of Frank Regal and Myrtle Regal-Bergan.

Alan leaves behind his devoted wife Donna "wojtkiewicz" Regal, and their children, Eric (spouse Jeni) Regal and Elizabeth Lain (spouse Eric) Davidson,Frank Balzanto and Debby Balzanto-Biddle. He also leaves behind his sister Jean Votava and nephew Lee.He was a loving and dedicated grandfather to his grandchildren.Alan was EXTREMELY proud to be a Great-Grandpa to , Athena Davidson, Mia and Savannah Drager. He always said " I am so lucky " He loved his grandchildren.. Curtiss Davidson,Victoria(Davidson)Drager,Zachary and Krissy Biddle ,Ashton and Aidan Regal.


Alan attended Morton West High School before furthering his education at Arizona State University. He pursued a career at Chicago Northwestern Railroad, where he made a lasting impact on his colleagues and the community.

Alan will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

May his soul rest in peace.
