It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alan Gonzales, who was born on March 28, 1941, in Violet, Louisiana, United States, He peacefully departed from this world on May 30, 2024. Alan was a loving husband to Margaret Gonzales, whom he married in 1962, and a devoted father to his two daughters, Shari LaBiche and Cindy Franz, with spouse Ogden. He also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents Ernest and Victoria Gonzales. Alan served his country as a Lieutenant in the Navy and was a dedicated member of the armed forces. He had a passion for football, engineering, and fishing, which brought him joy throughout his life. Visitation will be held on May 31, 2024 from 4:00 pm till 10:00 pm at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens located @ 701 W Virtue St, Chalmette, LA 70043 Visitation will resume on June 1, 2024 from 8:00 am till 11:00 am, followed by a private burial.
