Ada M. RussellShrewsburyAda M. (Caslow) Russell, 94, formerly of Glen Rock, died Saturday, September 3, 2016, at SpiriTrust Lutheran, The Village at Shrewsbury. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2016, at Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, with the Rev. Melissa Eicholtz officiating. Viewings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery. Mrs. Russell was born on March 31, 1922, in Codorus Township and was a daughter of the late Jacob K. and Mary E. (Spangler) Caslow.She was a seamstress for Savado Bros., Glen Rock, for over 34 years, having retired in 1979, and worked for Brown's Orchard and Farm Market, Loganville, for 27 Years.She was a member of St. Jacob's (Stone) United Church of Christ, Glenville, for over 50 years, a life member of Rainbow Chapter #517 Order of The Eastern Star, Red Lion, and Memorial Court #106 Order of The Amaranth, Red Lion.She leaves behind a daughter-in-law, Shirley A. Russell; a grandson, William G. Russell II and his wife Sheri; a granddaughter, Shari L. Taylor and her husband Kenyon; eight great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, William G. Russell; a grandson, Scott A. Russell; two sisters, Ruth Markel and Mae J. Shue; and two brothers, Edward and Benjamin Caslow.
