Abigail Irizarry, 73, of Orlando, Florida, passed on her birthday on May 27, 2022. Abigail was born on May 27, 1949 in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico to Felix Irizarry and Monserrate Troche. Abigail is survived by her husband of 50 years, Nelson Alvarez, and 5 of her 13 brothers and sisters; Javier, Ariel, Hiram, Rebecca and Milka. She and Nelson proudly raised their 4 boys, Nelson Emilio, Noel, Wilmer and Marcos Omar, and she is also survived by her caring and selfless daughters-in-law, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and soon-to-be born great granddaughter. Abigail and Nelson most recently resided in Orlando near their family, but spend substantial time in Rincon, Puerto Rico where their children were raised. Abigail was known to many in Florida and in Puerto Rico as a faithful servant of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and a prayer warrior, a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and an avid reader and teacher of the Word. A celebration of Abigail's life service will be held at Templo Ebenezer A/D (1244 Commerce Blvd.) in Orlando, Florida on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 7:00PM, and funeral services will be held at Funeraria Perez-Santoni (CARR 115, KM 12.8, Rincon, Puerto Rico 00677) on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 2-6pm with burial on Wednesday morning, June 8, 2022.
