It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aaron Jamison of Williamsburg, Virginia. Born on March 4, 1942, Aaron lived a long and fulfilling life until his sudden departure on August 9, 2024.
Aaron lived a great life, embracing the struggles of it all with his loving, late wife Lucille, whom he married in 1978. Together, they raised 7 children: Jertell Jamison, Laura Jamison, Denise Jamison, LeShawn Jamison, Lyrell Jamison, Avery Jamison, and Curtis Jamison. He was also a proud grandfather to over 10 Jamison grandchildren.
Aside from his family, in his youthful days Aaron had a passion for hard work and dedication. He believed that prayer couldn't handle everything and often took matters into his own callused hands. While he did not have much himself, he worked hard hours on end to provide for the family his wife blessed into the world, so that his children, and his children’s children could have something to hold onto to, to look forward to, to know what makes a Jamison.
Unfortunately, every warrior’s journey must come to an end eventually, as Aaron's life was cut short by a heart attack his sleep, the only way death would've been able to take him as he would always boast.
While he may no longer be with us, his memory and hard work for this family will live on in the hearts, burn into our souls, and rest within our hands of all who knew and loved him.
Rest in peace, Aaron Jamison. May you forever soar within the heavens watching us uphold the Jamison name you have crafted.
