Wilma Jean FisherDRESDEN: Wilma Jean Fisher , 89 of Dresden died at 10:10pm Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the Willow Haven Nursing Home .She was born on June 18, 1925 in Zanesville, the daughter of James Henry Hooper and Helen M. Robbins Hooper.Wilma was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Dresden and Homemaker who enjoyed her children and family which was the love of her life.She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Bernard F. Fisher whom she married June 22, 1946; her 12 children; Anne (Jim) Kuhlman, Mike (Lottie) Fisher, Teresa (Bob) Wortman, Chris (Ron) Foraker, Joe (Lori) Fisher, Jenny (John) Wilcox, Holly (Bob) Herron, Tim (Betty) Fisher, Tom Fisher, Carol (Barry) Weisend, Jacquie (Jeff) King and Jay (Chris) Fisher; 24 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; a sister Dorothy Speakman of Newark; and a brother Ronnie (Dixie) Hooper of Dresden; and numerous nieces and nephews. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; son Steven Fisher; sister Ruth Ann Hooper; and granddaughter Lisa M. Fisher. Friends may call from 2pm to 3pm on Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home with funeral service at 3pm at the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home with Father Don Franks officiating. Burial will conclude at the Mt. Olive Cemetery, East Pike.Memorial contributions can be made to the Genesis Hospice & Palliative Care.
