Mr. Willie B. Jordan Jr, age 62, of Freeport, Illinois went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 13, 2019, at 6:30 am at Freeport Memorial Hospital ER.
Willie was the eldest son of Willie Sr and Ruby (Brown) Jordan. He was born January 2, 1957, at Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. His parents preceded him in death.
He attended Edward Jenner Elementary School (now Jenner Elementary Academy of the Arts), Immaculate Conception Junior High School, and John Marshall Metropolitan High School. Willie was naturally creative and very artistic. He loved to draw and create with his hands. Art was his passion and he was talented but this was dampened by the death of his sister Louise Jordan in 1976. That's when he realized that he could also repair anything. From repairing cars to renovating homes he was a truly gifted craftsman.
Willie was Baptized's at Mount Ridge Missionary Baptist Church at the young age of eleven.
He met and married the love of his life on February 12, 1983, Barnetta Jordan(Ishmon). Both bringing beautiful daughters: Lakesha Jordan (Bobby) Porter and Latisha Ishmon (Devale)Castle then later welcoming to this union two wonderful children Willie B (Destiny)Jordan 3rd, and Briggetta Jordan (Edwin) Bass.
He leaves to mourn his wife and children listed above.

Willie's wishes were not to have a funeral but to be cremated and have his ashes spread over his favorite place. He was a caring, honest, hardworking and wise man. He taught us to work hard to provide and always do right by our family even in the face of adversity. Willie loved working with his hands, his many dogs(Benny) and most of all his family.
