William "Scott" WhitakerEAST PEORIA - William "Scott" Whitaker, 55, of East Peoria,\ passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016, at his home. He was born on July 8, 1961, in Peoria to Earl E. and Lawanda Verline (Kenser) Whitaker. Scott married Robin C. Disharoon. She preceded him in death.He was also preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Gary; an infant brother, James; and a nephew, Connor.Scott leaves one daughter, Jessie (Wes) Sager; four brothers, Dave (Debbie), Roger, Tom and Bob (Kristi) Whitaker; four sisters, Wanda (Alex) Cuevas, Sharon (Bruce) Fort and Brenda and Kitten Whitaker; and many nieces and nephews.Scott was a caregiver for his parents for many years. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at The Wilton Mortuary in Peoria, with the Rev. Howard Love officiating.
