This obituary is administered by:
WILLIAM "BILLY" REMERNovember 2, 1987 - May 28, 2014Billy passed away peacefully on May 28th, 2014 at home in his sleep from an undetected heart abnormality. Billy was born on November 2nd, 1987 in Pocatello, ID to Daniel Evan Remer and Mary Catherine (Vaughn) Remer. Billy was raised in Pocatello at the family home on Short Ave with his younger sister, Dani (Danette, Tyler Wynthein). Growing up, Billy and Dani loved each other, often fighting as hard as they played. But as young adults their relationship deepened from that of siblings, to good friends. Billy was so excited and anticipated the upcoming arrival of Dani and Tyler's first son. Billy attended Bonneville Elementary, Franklin Junior High and Graduated from Century High School in 2006. After High School he spent some time in Salt Lake City, Utah in the electrician program before deciding to return to Pocatello. He worked as a Chef in various restaurants such as Chili's, Ruby Tuesdays and Brass Rail at the Clarion. He currently was employed at the Clarion Hotel front desk. Billy had almost reached his goal of obtaining a Bachelors' degree at Idaho State University in the field of Marketing and Business Management. His dream was to own and run his own business such as a Sports Bar and Grill. Billy enjoyed a variety of activities, such as endless reading, camping, family get together's, hanging out with friends, watching the Packers and playing video games. He loved spending time with his bull dog Annie, showing his best friend off to everyone. Billy loved the game of soft ball and was currently on the Curve Balls co-ed team. Just before his passing he was getting ready to attend the Mountain Man Renzendous in Inkom this weekend. He loved the time spent at this event, shooting his blackpowder guns and shooting the bull with all his family and friends. Billy loved listening to music, loving the challenge of finding the next great band and sharing it with others. He will miss hanging out with all his friends, especially Brandon Sunderland, and many others. Starting at a young age, Billy showed he was a loyal friend. He often got himself in trouble, trying to defend or fight others battles for them. Many people have commented that it was Billy who stood up for them. Everyone knows he had the biggest heart and would be there for anyone, helping how he could. Billy was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bill Remer and William Vaughn Jr; uncles, Harry Remer and Gill Spencer. He is survived by his dad, Dan, and step-mother, Sally, his mom, Mary, and sister, Dani(Tyler). His grandmothers, Cathy Vaughn and Carol Remer. Step-sisters, Wendy Day, Jessica (Doug) Fairchild, Step-brothers, Bobby (Nellie) Day, DJ (Hannah) Hardin, and many nieces and nephews and cousins, aunts and uncles.
