William L. "Bill" LileWilliam L. "Bill" Lile, 77, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 3:05 a.m. at IU Health Arnett. Bill was born on March 8, 1937 in Kokomo to the late Charles and Odetta Lile. Bill was married to Bonnie Y. (Robbins) Lile and she preceded him in death in April of 1995. He was an Army Veteran, and worked construction for more than 25 years for Fairfield Contractors. Bill enjoyed fishing, bowling, camping, playing cards and board games, and loved to dance. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends at the Ben Hur Tavern, and was a member of the American Legion and The Eagles. Surviving four children, Christy (husband: Gary) Seabolt of Lafayette, Debbie Clevenger of Louisville, KY, William Lile Jr. of Carlisle, IN, and Mike Lile of Lafayette. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Stacy (husband: Juan) Salazar of Lafayette, Heather (husband: Wayne) Walker of Louisville, KY, Patrick Lile of Louisville, KY, Caleb Fisher of Lafayette, and 13 great grandchildren. Bill is preceded in death by 3 sisters, and his mother-in-law. A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with a dinner to follow at 633 S. 24th St., Lafayette, IN 47904.
