William Hardin Jamison William Hardin Jamison, 72, of Hilton Head, South Carolina, died peacefully in his home surrounded by family on Friday May 20th, 2016, after battling pancreatic cancer. He was born on June 25th, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio where he attended Columbus Academy. He graduated from Washington & Lee University in 1965 and obtained his MBA from The Ohio State University in 1972. He was the President and COO of Johnson & Hardin, a family-owned printing company. Bill married Martina Riker Scifres in Lexington, Kentucky on July 10th, 1982. They raised their family in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a 4-time marathon runner, he shared his enthusiasm for physical fitness with many friends and colleagues. Bill retired in 1997 and moved to Hilton Head Island in 2010 where he sought to improve his tennis and golf games; he enjoyed testing new techniques, equipment, and frequently offering unsolicited tips. His parents Dr. Andrew M Jamison Jr and Evelyn Byrd Hardin Jamison preceded him in death. He is survived by his two brothers, Andrew Jamison III (Pattie Scifres Jamison) and Robert Jamison (Frances Starr Jamison); his three children Tallie, Britton, and Cackie, and his loving wife Martina. The family thanks Dr. Wayne Johnson and his staff and Hospice Care of the Lowcountry. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 28th, 2016 at 4PM in the Wexford Clubhouse.
