William M. Glembocki, Sr.1937 - 2017William M. Glembocki, Sr., 79, of Bristol, Wis., passed away Monday afternoon March 13, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family.William Martin Glembocki was born on June 30, 1937, in Milwaukee, Wis., the son of the late Edward and Stella Waswillo Glembocki. On April 25, 1959, in Kenosha, Wis., William was united in marriage to Catherine Pearl Bambrough. William moved to Bristol, Wis., in 1959.William served in the U.S. Army Reserves. William was a former member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Bristol. He proudly served with the Bristol Fire Dept. and Rescue Squad for over 30 years where he served as Fire Chief. He was a founder of Bristol Rescue Squad. William also served on the Bristol Town Board. He and his wife Catherine, were named Bristol Man and Woman of the year in 2007. He also served on the Board of Adjustments for Kenosha County.William is survived by: His wife Catherine; three children, William M. (Deborah) Glembocki, Jr. of New Munster, Wis., Christine M. (Brett) Volbrecht of Twin Lakes, Wis., and Rita M. (David) Weis of Wheatland, Wis.; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edmund Glembocki.The Glembocki Family would like to give special Thanks to Kindred Hospice and granddaughter Anna and her family for the care and compassion shown their family.The Glembocki Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 16, 2017, from 3 p.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 6 p.m. at the Parkway Chateau (Brat Stop) 12304 75th St. Kenosha, WI.
