William Edward "Bill" DadyNASHPORT: William Edward "Bill" Dady, 90, of Nashport, passed away peacefully at 1:40 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Cedar Hill Care Center. He was born on February 20, 1923, in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of the late Garry and Stella Harrison Dady. He retired as a strip miner from Bruns Coal Company. He was Methodist by faith. He served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the United States Army during
World War II.Surviving are his wife, Laura W. Hanning Dady of the home; a daughter, Laura Denice Ford of Zanesville; a granddaughter, Leigh Anne Eppley; a great-grandson, Lucian Jack Eppley; and two sisters, June Lawyer and Florence Darner.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Eugene, Merle, James and Robert Dady; and a sister, Irene Neff.Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE and one hour prior to services. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastor Gene McNerney officiating. Bill will be laid to rest in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
