William "Dean" Henry, age 92, of North East, formerly of Corsica, PA died on Saturday November 19, 2016 at home. He was born on April 9, 1924 in Corsica, PA to the late Burton Ray and Hannah (Smith) Henry. William was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army. He was formerly employed by New YorkCentral, Penn Central, and Conrail Rail Road as a Field Terminal Supervisor for 41 years. He enjoyed hunting, golf, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Crooks; and brothers, Reid and Kenneth Henry. William is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lois M. (Martz) Henry whom he married November 2, 1946; daughters, Cynthia Britton of Lynnbrook, NY, and Saundra Ludwig (Jeffrey) of Waterford; sons, William Henry (Beth) of New Middletown, OH, David Henry of Chesterland, OH, and Scott Henry(Becky) of El Paso, TX; a sister, Donna Henry of DuBois; a brother, Robert Henry of Brookville; and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to the Mount Pleasant Independent Baptist Church, 23178 Route 322, Corsica, PA on Saturday at 11:00 am until time of a memorial service at 11:30 am.
