William CannonFuneral service for Mr. William Auston "Bill" Cannon, 73, of Newellton, LA will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 5, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Newellton, with Rev. Larry Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Legion Memorial Cemetery, all under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home, Winnsboro, LA. Mr. Cannon, a retired sawmiller, was born on October 26, 1943, in St. Joseph, LA and passed away on August 2, 2017, in Winnsboro, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Auston Cannon and Maggie Lee Arnold Cannon; wife, Mary Wade Cannon; and son, William Chris Cannon.Survivors left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Thomas Gabriel Cannon and Mathew Auston Cannon; brothers, Danny R. Cannon and wife Sandy, Morgan Cannon and wife Kaye, and Terry Cannon and wife Sheila. He is also survived by a host of nieces, family, and friends.The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, August 5, 2017, from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM at the church.
