William Arthur Plummer Jr. was a simple man. He was born in Washington, D.C. to Josie Shephard and William Plummer Sr. in the fall of 1949. He had 3 sisters and 4 brothers; Martina, Bernard, Frederick (Freddy), Sheila, Janice, Anthony, and Michael. In William's early years he spent a lot of time working, studying, and boxing. After graduating from Mckinley Technology High School, he attended the University of the District of Columbia and graduated with a degree in History. William took pride in his accomplishments over his lifetime, especially after he became blind in a tragic accident. William put the fight in fighting spirit and was able to live 33 years of his life blind, making the most of it. He received many medals, certificates and awards for his various accomplishments and these were some of his most prized possessions, next to his music collection. William spent most of his life listening to music and dedicating his time to sharpening his wit. His legacy lives on through his children, Veronica K King, Anthony L Wall, and Keith J Wall, and his grandchildren Taylor King, Israel King, Chloe King, and Caleb Wall.
