William A. Barber, age 51, of Oscoda and formerly of Westland died on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at his home. He was born on June 15, 1961 in Garden City to William and Marnie Barber (nee Wiggins). William worked in the construction industry and enjoyed to swim, hunt and fish. He is survived by his mother, Marnie Addie and step father, Charles Addie; sisters, Terri Cowan and Lena (Jason) Abernathy; brother, Michael Barber; eight step siblings; two granddaughters; two grandsons; three nephews; three nieces; brother-in-law, Bill Cowan; and many good friends. Funeral services were held on Monday, May 6 at 6 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home in Oscoda. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 4 to 6 p.m. Monday prior to the funeral.
