Wayne D. FosterMr. Wayne David Foster, age 93, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. He was born on November 6, 1923 in West Plains, Missouri, the son of the late Sheldon and Mary (Morrison) Foster.Wayne served his country in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He was a member of the South Haven Baptist Church, Springfield; the Springfield BMW Road Riders; and was a 60 year member of the Masonic Lodge in Willow Springs.He is survived by his three sons and their wives, Ken and Emmanuelle Foster, John Foster, and Matthew and Kristy Foster; four grandchildren, Nicholas Foster, Bryce Foster, Talor M. Marion, and Sheana D. Marion; and other relatives and friends.A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with the memorial service to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017, in the South Haven Baptist Church, Springfield. Burial, with military honors, will follow at a later date in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the South Haven Baptist Church.
