GARRETT — Wanda K. McHenry, 80, died Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Miller's Merry Manor in Garrett, Indiana. She was born on February 10, 1934, in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, to the late Glen and Stella (Soots) Williams. She married Jack E. McHenry Sr. on May 8, 1955, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on August 20, 2008. Surviving are her sons, Jack E. McHenry Jr. of Edwardsburg, Michigan, Mark (Kim) McHenry of Auburn, Indiana, and Glen McHenry of Auburn, Indiana; her daughters, Jill (Mike) Newell of Warsaw, Indiana, Linda (Stuart) Clark of Texas, and Trena (Ron) Byesking of Harlan, Indiana; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister Arlene Starry of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and four brothers, John (Elaine) Williams of North Carolina, Walt (Ingrid) Williams of Florida, Tom Williams of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Charlie Williams of New Hampshire. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Bev McHenry; a sister, Marilyn Fields; and two brothers, Bill and Paul Williams. Wanda was a homemaker who loved to sew, arrange flowers and spend time with her family. Services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015, at noon, with calling one hour prior, at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home in Spencerville, Indiana. Pastor Jim Baughman will officiate.
