Walter Griffith Poole Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, November 5,2016. He courageously fought a long two year battle of illnesses from three brain stem strokes. Walter was born on January 21,1952 in Daisy, Maryland. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 44 years, Sherry , his daughter Tamara Hamilton and husband Kevin, son Christopher Poole, his nine grandchildren, four brothers, three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Walter enjoyed spending time with his family. He always looked forward to the holidays. He enjoyed gardening, wildlife and watching sports.Walter will be remembered by his unwavering faith and strength throughout his life.We welcome family and friends to a graveside memorial on Saturday, November 12,2016 at 1:30 pmMckendree Cemetery Route 144 Mckendree Road, West Friendship Maryland.
