PFEIL Walter J.M. Pfeil, 71, of Jacksonville passed away peacefully Saturday, November 26, 2016 at his residence. Walt was born on September 20, 1945 in Buffalo, New York to the late Walter F. and Mildred Pfeil. Walt had a passion for community outreach through Kiwanis, the M.S. Society, and the ARC. He loved to travel and watch football. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. His outlook on life was an inspiration to everyone. He was a general manager with Prudential Insurance and a proud Union College graduate. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Marie M Pfeil; children, Jennifer Smith and spouse, Jason of Manassas, Va, Jason Pfeil and spouse, Erin of Pensacola, Fl, Jennifer Marshall of Jacksonville, Fl; grandchildren, Tobin and Raney Smith. A celebration of Walt's life will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2016 at St. Paul's By the Sea, 465 11th Avenue North, Jacksonville Beach, Fl. Neptune Society is in charge of his arrangements.
